Ministry Partnerships
Robey Boutique's mission is to be a light in the fashion industry and to demonstrate the Lord's love to everyone around us. One way we plan to do that is by giving back and partnering with different missionary organizations that are dedicated to doing the same.
Growing up, Julia had the privilege of going on different missions trip with her family and local church. One place she frequently was able to visit with her family was Gabon, a beautiful country in West Africa. Julia’s dad serves with the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) which is a non-denominational, multinational service organization training African physicians to become surgeons who are willing to remain in Africa to meet this need. As a young girl, Julia was able to serve alongside her family at Bongolo Hospital in Gabon where her dad and other missionary doctors were training African surgical residents. During these trips her family built strong relationships with the residents and their families. One of these former residents, Dr. Jean Claude Bataneni, now has his own mission hospital in Isiro, Democratic Republic of Congo, called Grace Hospital.
Grace Hospital was formally opened in January of 2023, offering surgical, OB/GYN, and outpatient primary care capabilities, as well as chaplaincy services with an in-patient capacity of 15 beds. Isiro has exploded in population in recent years, driven partly by people fleeing the ongoing violence in nearby provinces. This rapid population growth has left the city’s healthcare needs woefully underserved. Grace Hospital has been inundated by patients seeking care. Robey Boutique is honored to be partnering with Dr. Jean Claude and his ministry. A percentage of our proceeds for each collection will be going to financially support Dr. Jean Claude and his family's ministry in the DRC.
- Financial need and resources to build an emergency room and additional patient rooms to Grace Hospital
- Protection and safety of Jean Claude and his family
- Financial need to provide salaries to the doctors and staff
